USC adds DirecTV as sponsor ahead of CFB season

DirecTV has reached a sponsorship agreement with USC beginning this fall that will include in-venue signage, in-game exposure and hospitality at home football games, along with support for all 21 of the school’s athletic programs. Legends Global Partnerships worked with USC Sports Properties, a division of Playfly Sports, in brokering the deal. Financial terms were not disclosed (DirecTV). ESPN's Kyle Bonagura noted USC’s first game of the season on Saturday against San Jose State "won’t be available on DirecTV because it’s on the Pac-12 Network," and the two do not have a carriage agreement.
