San Diego MLS has named sports industry veteran Ricardo Campos as EVP/Club Operations beginning Sept. 18. In his role with the expansion franchise, Campos will be responsible for overseeing and directing the operations of various departments critical to the success and growth of the club (San Diego MLS).
The Univ. of West Georgia is making the leap to D-I athletics, the school announced on Friday. The school will join the Atlantic Sun Conference beginning July 1, 2024, though the football program will play in the United Athletic Conference -- a football league partnership between the ASUN and WAC (Ben Portnoy, SBJ).
