The NBA on Friday opened its “third-ever flagship retail store location,” this one at Houston’s Galleria mall. The 7,500-square-foot NBA Store will be run by Lids as part of the league’s partnership with the apparel chain. The store includes a “customization area where fans can personalize NBA jerseys and hats for all 30 teams,” as well as “interactive window displays and a ‘center court’ experience, which will highlight special product collections and serve as an event space.” Other NBA Stores are in N.Y. and London (HOUSTON BUSINESS JOURNAL, 11/3).
