Michael Markovich spent a decade as an NFL vice president with responsibility that included game-day experience strategy. In April 2022, he joined Sony’s Sports Businesses and Pulselive, the company behind the content management system that builds all digital properties for the Premier League, World Rugby and International Cricket Council. Markovich is bullish on its growth in North America where sister company Hawk-Eye is the tracking provider for MLB and the NBA, while powering NFL replays and testing with the NHL. Together with Beyond Sports, Markovich said he aspires to use advanced data and visualizations as a storytelling tool — with a particular interest in growing young fans. — J.L.
