WWE today announced that media industry veteran Lee Fittinghas joined the company as Head of Media & Production.
Fitting brings more than two decades of production experience to WWE from ESPN, where he oversaw production for tentpole properties including “Monday Night Football,” “College GameDay,” the College Football Playoff and other properties within the Disney portfolio. ESPN let go of Fittingjust before the college football season in August. WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, handled the search internally.
The hiring follows news earlier this month that longtime WWE exec Kevin Dunn had left his role after spending over 40 years with the company, most recently as EVP/Television Production.
