Caitlin Clark nearing Nike endorsement deal

Fever G Caitlin Clark is nearing a "lucrative, eight-figure endorsement deal" with Nike, according to sources. Clark is "expected to receive a signature Nike shoe" as well. Under Armour and Adidas also "made sizable offers" to Clark, according to sources. Clark’s previous deal with Nike ended after the conclusion of the recently finished college basketball season, and she is "expected to land one of the most lucrative sneaker deals in the WNBA." Sources said Warriors G Stephen Curry -- who has a deal with Under Armour -- "participated in the companies' meeting with Clark" (THE ATHLETIC, 4/17).

Clark will be the first Fever player to have a signature shoe and will be one of five current players to have a shoe deal. Liberty G Sabrina Ionescu and F Breanna Stewart both have signature shoes, as well as Aces F Candace Parker and Mercury G Diana Taurasi (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 4/17).
