Montreal officials confirmed Friday that Olympic Stadium is “not available” for the Rays due to an extensive four-year, $870M construction project to replace the roof. Montreal is the "second potential option to come off the list” amid the Rays search for a temporary home due to damage to Tropicana Field by Hurricane Milton. Officials with the Rays’ Triple-A team in Durham on Thursday said that they “ could not host the parent club for a full season due to scheduling conflicts and other logistical issues.” Rays officials have not said which sites they are considering or when they will make a decision (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 10/19).
