USA Curling has selected Charlotte to host the 2026 national championships, with the event to be held in Bojangles Coliseum.
Citing the growth of the sport, including in North Carolina, USA Curling will use the Charlotte event to select the men's and women's teams that will compete in the world championships that year. The national championships will run Feb. 23, 2026 to March 2, 2026.
Charlotte has taken an increased role in the Olympic and Paralympic movement, with USA Archery, USA Judo and USA Taekwondo moving to train at the U.S. Performance Center there.
