Jacksonville City Council is set to approve a three-year extension of the naming rights deal between the Jaguars and the Jacksonville-based EverBank that will run through Feb. 28, 2028. As has been the case since 2014, the city "won't get any cut from the revenue the Jaguars will generate" from the naming-rights agreement. The team will not play home games in Jacksonville in 2027 because construction during the stadium's $1.4B renovation"will put it off-limits to football." The agreement between the city, the Jaguars and EverBank "would take a reduction in home games into account for what EverBank would pay each year" for the naming rights (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 1/13).
