The L.A. Kings "honored firefighters and first responders" on Monday in the team's first game back in its downtown arena since the massive wildfires that devastated large parts of L.A. The Penguins and Kings "wore LAFD caps during pregame warmups," and firefighters and first responders "from various departments in the region were honored at center ice before the game." The Kings also "replaced their traditional logo at center ice with a graphic paying tribute to the Los Angeles Fire Department." Kings C Anze Kopitar and Penguins C Sidney Crosby "then did a ceremonial face off with Fire Engineer Chien Yu" (AP, 1/21).
