The Univ. of Cincinnati is set to hire Bengals Director of Corporate Partnerships RYAN HOLMES as the president of Cincy Sports Partners, a source with knowledge of the situation told Sports Business Journal.
An official announcement is expected on Wednesday.
Holmes, who spent the last 15 seasons with the Bengals, helped the franchise rank first or second in the league in new business revenue in 2022 and 2023. He was also involved in closing the Paycor Stadium naming rights deal in 2022.
Cincy Sports Partners, the school's new sponsorship and MMR arm of the athletic department, was launched in October. The group will be responsible for selling sponsorships in areas like radio broadcasts, fan experiences, local and national commercials, arena and stadium signage and more.
Cincinnati had previously partnered with Learfield on its MMR rights and sponsorship sales.
