U.S. Figure Skating taps Elevate Talent for CEO search

U.S. Figure Skating's board of directors has retained Elevate Talent to lead the search for its next CEO.

One of the biggest national governing bodies by revenue - its roughly $25 million per year ranked it 10th in 2022 - U.S. Figure Skating has been looking for new leadership since Tracy Marek resigned in October.

The NGB created a search committee, chaired by Jackie Chang and Tina Lundgren, that selected Elevate for the search. The firm is also handling searches for the CEO of US Sailing and for the LPGA commissioner.

At U.S. Figure Skating, it is looking for candidates who can manage the varied stakeholders of the NGB, generate sponsorship and donor revenue and enhance programming and membership offerings.

Like most NGBs in the Olympic and Paralympic movement, U.S. Figure Skating is based on Colorado Springs, Colo. The CEO reports to the NGB's board and manages a staff of 61.

Anyone interested in applying can email Elevate at usfigureskating.ceo@oneelevate.com by 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 9.
