Fetch shopping rewards to make its Super Bowl debut with $1.2M giveaway

Shopping rewards app Fetch is making its Super Bowl ad debut this year with a “big giveaway,” according to Adrianne Pasquarelli of AD AGE. The company will air a “30-second ad in the fourth quarter that promotes” a $1.2M sweepstakes. During the two-minute warning, Fetch “plans to give $10,000 in cash to 120 individuals who download its app and tune in to a livestream.” Fetch decided to go with its “own internally created idea” and is “working with Monks on the livestream.” In recent months, Fetch started to invest in some TV advertising during MLB “as it seeks to grow its familiarity with consumers” (AD AGE, 1/27).

RETURNING TO THE GAME: ADWEEK’s Colin Daniels noted prebiotic soda brand Poppi has “confirmed that it will return” to the Super Bowl this year after advertising for the first time during last year’s game. Poppi declined to share further details about the creative (ADWEEK, 1/24).
