The Sacramento Kings have announced a partnership with accessibility tech startup OneCourt for the rest of the NBA season, bringing haptic devices to Golden 1 Center for fans with blindness or low vision.
The deployment, carried out in collaboration with Ticketmaster, brings five OneCourt devices for checkout from the Kings' guest services. The technology uses a silicone mat with outlines of a playing surface (in this case, a Kings' branded basketball court) and haptics so users can feel the flow of play through their fingertips.
It’s the second team partnership from OneCourt, which announced a similar deal with the Trail Blazers earlier this year. OneCourt was founded out of Seattle by University of Washington alums in late 2022. The company was recently named as one of the 2025 portfolio companies for NBA Launchpad.
