The Mariners named VP & Deputy General Counsel MELISSA ROBERTSON SVP & General Counsel, replacing FRED RIVERA. Robertson has worked with the Mariners for the past 17 years, where she “oversaw all of the team’s legal affairs and government relations.” Rivera, who was the organization’s EVP & General Counsel, will stay with the team in an adviser role. Rivera yesterday announced that he is “launching a sports and entertainment firm called the Rivera Group” (PUGET SOUND BUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/24).

Kiswe has hired longtime telecom and sports executive RICHARD MOLLARD as its Dir/Sports Business Development, Europe & the Middle East. Mollard’s sports-related experience includes stops as Managing Dir of the British Basketball League’s Plymouth Raiders and Sr Program Manager/Major Clients at Sportradar. He will work remotely from his home base just outside of Plymouth, England, and report to Kiswe CRO CHRIS PANTOYA (Rob Schaefer, SBJ).

Reebok SVP/Global Product PORTIA BLUNT has “stepped down from her role.” She leaves to focus on Bee Blunt, her lifestyle and fashion brand. Blunt spent more than four years at Reebok, joining in February 2021 as VP/Global Apparel & Creative Direction. She was elevated to SVP/Global Product in January 2024 (FOOTWEAR NEWS, 2/24).
