Major League Pickleball has inked a multiyear sponsorship deal with DoorDash that makes the well-known food delivery app the league’s newest title sponsor. Terms were not disclosed, but a source familiar with the agreement characterized it as MLP’s largest-ever sponsor deal, stretching three years (through 2027) and worth seven figures annually.
DoorDash replaces Margaritaville, which had been the league’s title sponsor since 2022.
MLP will now be rebranded to “MLP presented by DoorDash,” including a new logo. DoorDash branding will also appear on MLP team uniforms and behind the baselines at league events; as the title sponsor for MLP’s annual finals in N.Y.; and as part of several other activations, including DoorDash-branded food pickup zones at MLP events and perks for DashPass members such as seat upgrades, gift cards and an ongoing offer for a free jar of pickles with a DoorDash grocery order of at least $12.
The league revealed the news with a video on social media featuring Dude Perfect (part-owner of MLP’s Nashville Chefs franchise) and MLP players Anna Bright and Tyson McGuffin Thursday morning.
