Senators owner Michael Andlauer said that the Canadian Tire Centre “won’t be full of Toronto fans because the club has sold about” 12,000 seats for their Battle of Ontario playoff series against the Maple Leafs, according to Bruce Garrioch of the OTTAWA CITIZEN. He believes that “there will only be 2,500-to-3,000 tickets available when they go on sale to the public.” The Senators confirmed that single game seats will go on sale Thursday at 10am ET. The series between the Maple Leafs and Senators will start in Toronto for the first two games before moving to Ottawa for the third and fourth games. This will mark the first time the Senators and Maple Leafs have faced off in the postseason since 2004. Ahead of the game, Senators RW Drake Batherson said, “Everybody in Ontario would love to see the Battle of Ontario” (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 4/15).
