The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER’s Alex Weprin reported former WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon will host a new podcast for WWE and Fanatics, called “What’s Your Story?” The show will see McMahon and her friend and co-host Elyse Dudzinski “sit down with some of the most influential figures in sports, business and entertainment to uncover their personal stories of hardship and success.” The first episode premieres today, and features an interview with UFC CEO & President Dana White (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/16).

NO MORE THROWBACK: In S.F., G. Allen Johnson reported the will be “no more seasons” of Warriors G Stephen Curry’s television series “Mr. Throwback.” Peacock has canceled the mockumentary series, which co-starred Curry, after one six-episode season. The Hollywood Reporter reported “viewership and not quality is the reason for the cancellation.” On Rotten Tomatoes, “Mr. Throwback” is certified “fresh” at 86% by critics and 80% by audiences. The series’ first episode premiered on Aug. 8 and it was among the top five watched of all Peacock content for that week, but “soon after, viewership steadily declined” (S.F. CHRONICLE, 4/16).

WOLVERINES FIND A HOME: In Detroit, Tony Garcia noted that Learfield’s Michigan Sports Properties, in partnership with Beasley Media Group Detroit, announced a multiyear broadcast agreement that will make WCSX-FM “the new flagship radio home” for the Wolverines. The agreement “takes effect at the start of the 2025 football season” with WCSX-FM “scheduled to broadcast all Michigan football, men’s basketball, and ice hockey games as well as the affiliated coaches’ shows and some ‘exclusive ancillary programming’” (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 4/16).
