The WNBPA and commercial partner OneTeam Partners have reached a non-exclusive agreement with Penn Entertainment that designates Penn’s online sports betting platforms, ESPN Bet in the U.S. and theScore Bet in Canada, as the first officially licensed sportsbooks of the WNBPA. The partnership provides Penn with rights to incorporate WNBA players’ names, images and likenesses into its online sports betting platforms, as well as Penn’s retail sportsbooks and betting kiosks across the U.S. Penn also gains the rights to use player name, image and likeness in marketing assets and promotional campaigns (WNBPA).
