Genius Sports has deployed its BetVision product for soccer, a feature now available to its sportsbook network. The interactive broadcast experience allows fans to watch and wager during live broadcasts.
The artificial intelligence-powered feature will provide augmented-reality overlays for the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, Ligue 1 in France and many other leagues. Genius Sports has partnered with soccer broadcast rights holder Infront to access live-game footage to feed into BetVision for Soccer.
The BetVision feature has existed with the NFL since 2023, first deployed by DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars Entertainment. Genius Sports has partnered with the NFL since 2021 and is the NFL’s official data provider.
Last week, Genius Sports was named the exclusive data distributor for the NCAA‘s postseason tournaments.
