The UFL’s overall attendance declined by 5% and TV viewership also declined, with an average of 645,000 viewers in 2025 from 812,000 in 2024, but the league is “willing to do whatever it takes to create growth across its eight markets,” according to Jacob Camenker of USA TODAY. UFL President Russ Brandon said, “We’re not shying away from it. It’s certainly something that we’re running towards.” UFL owner Dany Garcia said, “Our first-year merge was murky for us to understand; what does the market actually think of us, and who are we? This is the year that we got the clarity, and now we know who we are, and now we push forward.” Brandon offered that the league is “looking at every way to re-engage and look at our marketplace in each separate silo as we move forward.” Brandon: “We know this: We have a great product. We know it’s affordable. We’re trying to activate as much as possible in each of these local markets. And we have a great plan, I believe, in place to do that.” He noted that the league “isn’t worried at all about the ratings decline.” He added, “People would give their eyeteeth for the amount of eyeballs that are watching our games on TV” (USA TODAY, 6/14).
