Boston Legacy FC is building a 24-acre, $27M training facility in Brockton, Mass., that’s scheduled to be completed before the 2026 NWSL season.

The privately funded facility south of Boston will include a 30,000-square-foot main building housing space for physical training, sports medicine, hydrotherapy, staff offices, and a kitchen. Outside, the team will utilize six total fields -- two that are natural grass, one with subsurface heating, a bubble dome for inclement weather, and three turf fields with lighting. Once completed, several of the fields will be available for community youth soccer use.

Boston Legacy FC is working with developer Able Company, architectural firm Studio Troika, and contractor Callahan to bring the project to fruition ahead of Boston Legacy’s debut NWSL season. The club will play its inaugural season at Gillette Stadium before White Stadium’s delayed redevelopment is completed for the 2027 season. Excel Sports Management is the club’s sales agency of record, including for training facility naming rights.
