The festival is “another chance for soccer fans” in K.C. to “showcase why the city is a soccer town with less than a year” before the 2026 FIFA World Cup (K.C. STAR, 9/18). Howard said it’s “pretty special when you’re able to get 10,000 people together who are all either light-heartedly have a rivalry, or love the same team, or just to be amongst people who love the Premier League” (K.C. STAR, 9/18).
