Fever, Wings top WNBA’s most valuable social brands

The Fever and Wings ranked as the WNBA’s most valuable social media brands, according to a survey from STN Digital and Zoomph. The survey, which tracked data between May 16 and Sept. 11, found the Fever -- led by star G Caitlin Clark -- had a social value of more than $55M, with the Wings next up at $8.6M. The Fever had $22.2M in social value come from the team’s YouTube channel. The Wings -- who drafted G Paige Bueckers No. 1 overall in April -- saw the largest engagement growth of any brands year-over-year, with a 505.29% increase in social engagement (the Lynx were second at +106.5%). The Wings also had the most impressions growth (+250.52%) and social value growth (+343.85%) (STN Digital and Zoomph).
