A feature-length documentary capturing Gonzaga men’s basketball’s “historic run under longtime coach Mark Few will premiere on streaming platform Tubi starting March 6,” according to Theo Lawson of the Spokane SPOKESMAN-REVIEW. The 74-minute documentary, titled “Gonzaga: The Slipper Still Fits,” has been “more than two years in the making.” The film features “more than a dozen interviews with former Gonzaga players now in the NBA.” A film crew led by director David Check obtained “behind-the-scenes footage of Gonzaga during the 2023-24 season, following the team at home and road games” (Spokane SPOKESMAN-REVIEW, 2/25). The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER’s Ryan Gajewski noted the documentary was produced by Thomas Tull and hails from Teton Ridge Entertainment and Words + Pictures. Jillian Share, Josh Miller, Connor Schell, Jonathan Hock, Libby Geist, Alexa Conway and Angela T. O’Neal serve as executive producers. Negotiating the deal were Miller, Teton Ridge Dir/National Brand Partnerships Jessica McCourt and Tubi Sports Content Acquisition lead Ian Nelson (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 2/25).
