Mets hire communications veteran Nancy Elder

The Mets named DAZN exec Nancy Elder the organization’s first Chief Communications Officer, adding a new member to their senior leadership team. In the newly created role reporting to Mets President Sandy Alderson, Elder will be responsible for communications strategy and public affairs. Elder also was Chief Communications Officer at DAZN Group, and prior to that held senior strategy, sponsorship, marketing and communications roles with Fortune 500 companies including JetBlue, Time Warner and Mastercard. VP/Communications Harold Kaufman will continue to serve in that role and will be the primary contact for local and national media for baseball operations. He and Elder will work closely together (Mets).
