Religion of Sports has acquired Jiva Maya, a U.K.-based production company formed in 2020 by writer and director Manish Pandey. Jiva Maya becomes the second company that has been brought under the ROS umbrella, the other being Main Event Media, which joined ROS through a production deal earlier this year. The acquisition “allows us to plant a flag in Europe,” ROS CEO Ameeth Sankaran said in a statement. Through Jiva Maya, ROS plans to significantly expand its work in global football, cricket and motorsport -- especially F1, for which Pandey is known.
Also joining Religion of Sports from the Jiva Maya team are Producer Chris Sharp; Head of Production William Campbell; Producer and Director John Miller; Director and Lead Editor Chris Armstrong; and Exec Producer Mark Harvey.
