FIFA Women’s World Cup broadcaster Fox Sports unveiled an out-of-home campaign promoting the global soccer event featuring a 20-foot-tall sculpture of USWNT F Alex Morgan reimagined as the Statue of Liberty. The network unveiled the piece, called "Liberty Alex,” during U.S. Soccer’s media day at Dignity Health Sports Park in L.A. It will make appearances at the Concacaf Gold Cup match between the U.S. and Trinidad & Tobago in Charlotte on Sunday and the MLB All-Star Game in Seattle on July 11 before being displayed at Fox Square in N.Y. around the start of the tournament in Australia and New Zealand on July 20. The image of Morgan as the Statue of Liberty in Sydney Harbour will also be featured in digital and print media, as well as on billboards in N.Y., L.A., Seattle and Dallas.
