AFL Predators President Brett Bouchy Stepping Down

AFL Orlando Predators Majority Owner Ron Howse said that he owns 65% of the team and has “full control” after buying the shares of President & Managing Partner Brett Bouchy over the past 18 months, according to Josh Robbins of the ORLANDO SENTINEL.  Bouchy, who has run the day-to-day operations of the franchise since ’03, is stepping down from his role and said that “family considerations drove his decision to leave the Predators.”  However, Bouchy “might not be done” with the AFL, as he said that he “has spoken with Arizona Rattlers owner Bob Hernreich about acquiring a stake” in that team.  Howse indicated that he “wants to leave the day-to-day operations of the team to Bouchy’s successor” ( ORLANDO SENTINEL, 7/19 ).
