Nike, through a subsidiary Nike Vapor, has acquired 19.9% of Sports Direct's holdings in Umbro, purchased at approximately $3.83 per share, which is the all-cash price Nike offered in October to acquire Umbro. Sports Direct has also given an irrevocable undertaking to vote its remaining 10% stake in Umbro in favor of Nike's purchase of Umbro, which will remain binding in the event that a competing offer for Umbro is announced ( Nike ).
