Nike is selling Saquon Barkley's N.Y. roots and "'Superhero' shimmer in a new apparel collection designed around" the Giants RB, according to Mark Wogenrich of the Allentown MORNING CALL. The new collection features a "logo with a lightning bolt fused with Barkley's initials," which is "intended to exemplify Barkley's speed and power." The collection also "references his roots in the Bronx, where Barkley was born" ( Allentown MORNING CALL, 11/7 ). In Pennsylvania, Dustin Hockensmith noted the line is headlined by a short-sleeved hoodie priced at $145, a "Saquon" long-sleeve T-shirt priced at $35 and a hat with Barkley's logo for $28. The collection will become available tomorrow, "marking yet another step forward" in Barkley's broad marketing appeal. Barkley also has endorsements from Pepsi, Campbell's Chunky Soup, Visa, Dunkin' and Panini America ( PENNLIVE.com, 11/6 ).
