When the Danish Superliga was suspended in March as Denmark took steps to halt the spread of the coronavirus, FC Midtjylland had a 12-point lead at the top of the table, with just two games remaining in the regular season. On Friday, hopeful for the return of soccer, but believing that games would need to be played without fans, FC Midtjylland unveiled plans for what could become the largest drive-in theater in the world. The team would set up giant screens in its stadium parking lot and initially allow 2,000 cars inside, but with a possibility to further open up the 12,000-space site.
