Tony Kanaan’s No. 14 Chevy will feature “one of his most memorable liveries” for Saturday’s IndyCar Genesys 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, as he will “carry sponsorship from 7-Eleven,” according to Marshall Pruitt of RACER.com. The convenience store was Kanaan’s primary sponsor for eight seasons from ’03-10, and he noted the green car “became my trademark.” The 7-Eleven livery will be followed “by different primary sponsors and special designs when Kanaan competes throughout the season” at all oval races for A.J. Foyt Racing (RACER.com, 6/3).
