The NHL is now accepting applications for NHL Power Players, the league’s youth advisory board that seeks teenagers to help direct the future of the game from a fan perspective.
Entering its second year, the program will select up to 20 people from the U.S. and Canada, ages 13-17, to help advise the NHL on its approach to local community engagement, rules of play, social media and fan-driven content. The youth advisors will participate in virtual meetings for one year.
Candidates can apply here through Sept. 25. There will be a three-part interview process before final selections are made. Alumni from last year’s inaugural program are eligible to apply.
