Sports-gambling group Entain announced that it is donating nearly $300,000 to organizations that help women pursue careers in technology. The funds will be provided by the Entain Foundation, a nonprofit branch of the organization with diversity in tech as a core part of its mission.
Girls Who Code , a global nonprofit that seeks to even the technology gender gap, will receive $250,000. About $38,000 will go to the Tech Girls Movement Foundation , an Australia-based organization that works to overcome gender stereotypes that can discourage girls from exploring STEM.

Entain has seen a recent increase in female leadership, with Jette Nygaard-Andersen being appointed CEO and two women joining the board of directors. In January, the company announced an initiative to provide sports betting education to college athletes.
