Aaron Rodgers scores viewership gain for first week guest hosting "Jeopardy!"

During Aaron Rodgers’ first five episodes as guest host of “Jeopardy!” back on the week of April 5, the show averaged 9.19 million viewers (syndication numbers are delayed longer than other programming). That figure ranks 10th among the weekly averages since guests hosts started on the show on Jan. 11 following the final episodes featuring Alex Trebek. Rodgers’ first week was up from the prior week (8.07 million), which was Dr. Oz’s final week as host. Rodgers delivered “Jeopardy!” a win among all syndication shows, whereas Oz’s final week left the show in third behind “Family Feud” and “Wheel of Fortune.” The top weekly audience for “Jeopardy!” since Trebek’s last week was Ken Jennings’ final week back on Feb. 15 (10.35 million). The low was Dr. Oz’s second week. During Trebek’s final episodes on Jan. 4, the show averaged 11.1 million, including 14 million for his final episode.
