Sports data provider Sportradar has announced plans to acquire InteractSport, a sports data and technology company with an emphasis on cricket. The deal is the latest in a recent series of acquisitions and partnerships by Sportradar.
The deal will allow Sportradar to incorporate InteractSport’s suite of products, industry knowledge and sports management and data collection services. Additionally, the acquisition will help Sportradar expand its reach in Asia, where cricket is among the most popular sports.
InteractSport currently works with various organizations in the cricket space, including Cricket Australia, the England & Wales Cricket Board, and Cricket Victoria. The company also has partnerships with governing bodies in other sports, such as Football Australia, Oceania Rugby and Netball Australia.
Since the beginning of 2021, Sportradar has partnered with the WTA , TwinSpires , the Asian Football Confederation and the K League, in addition to acquiring Synergy Sports .
