Street League Skateboarding has set dates and unveiled details for its upcoming championship tour, which will have events in Salt Lake City (Aug. 27-28), Miami (Oct. 29-30) and Jacksonville (Nov. 13-14). The debut contest, which will be held at the Utah State Fairgrounds, will be free to the public and include an exhibition event, “Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert,” from the legendary skater and sponsor Vans. That showcase will feature Hawk and other greats in a “Legends Demo” as well as a subsequent vert contest. The tour’s Miami stop will be the first live event hosted by Skatebird Miami, a new skatepark plaza that will include pop-up retail and food locations. Tickets for the SLS Championship Tour go on sale July 26.
