Fanatics has hired SHIRI BEN-YISHAI as general counsel, marking the first time the company will have someone in that position covering commerce, collectibles, betting/gaming and NFTs within the Fanatics global system. Ben-Yishai will serve as the senior chief legal officer for Fanatics. Ben-Yishai was previously chief legal officer with holding company MacAndrews & Forbes, where she oversaw all legal, compliance and regulatory matters for the company, which oversees brands like Revlon and SIGA Technologies. Ben-Yishai began her career at Tel Aviv-based Gornitzky & Co. before coming to work in the U.S. with the law firm of Wachtell Lipton. She also had a stint with UBS as a managing dir. As of presstime, it was unclear who Ben-Yishai would report to at Fanatics.
