WISE to honor '20 women of the year recipients in person next month after COVID delays

The Women in Sports and Events organization will host its 26th WISE Women of the Year Awards Luncheon at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in N.Y. on March 9, honoring four recipients after the annual event was postponed in '20 and '21 due to COVID-19. The recipients, which were announced in February '20 and will now be honored in person, are: NHL Exec VP/Club Business Affairs SUSAN COHIG; Walt Disney World Resort Senior VP/Operations ROSALYN DURANT; Wasserman President of Brands & Properties ELIZABETH LINDSEY; and MLS President & Chief Administrative Officer JOANN NEALE. WISE members across the country voted to select the honorees. In conjunction with the awards luncheon, the WISE/R Symposium, which aims to focus solely on the personal and professional development of women in the business of sports, will take place the day prior at The TimesCenter (WISE).
