RISE name Pete Bevacqua and Troy Vincent new co-Chairs

RISE has named NBC Sports Chair PETE BEVACQUA and NFL EVP/Football Operations TROY VINCENT as co-Chairs of its BOD. They succeed former NFL Commissioner PAUL TAGLIABUE, who is retiring after serving as RISE Chair since 2018. Bevacqua and Vincent have sat on the RISE BOD since 2015 and were formally elected to their new roles following the organization’s most recent BOD meeting earlier this month. They will serve as co-Chairs through December 31, 2024. Additionally, the RISE board elected an Exec Committee, which will advise the CEO and be tasked with supporting key areas of operations, including sponsorships, board relations, programs and athlete engagement. Along with Bevacqua and Vincent, the RISE BOD members who will sit on this committee include: RISE CEO DIAHANN BILLINGS-BURFORD, U.S. Army (Ret.) General GEORGE CASEY, Univ. of Chicago professor STACY TESSLER LINDAU, USA Track & Field CEO MAX SIEGEL and Group 1001 CEO DAN TOWRISS. RISE Founder & Vice Chair STEPHEN ROSS also is stepping down from the RISE BOD (RISE).
