Dyn Media, an in-development new sports streaming service in Germany, is partnering with WSC Sports to automate the production of real-time video clips to its OTT platform and social media sites. Founded by former Bundesliga executives Christian Seifert and Andreas Heyden, Dyn Media is scheduled to launch later this year.
WSC Sports uses AI to automatically tag and generate highlights. Among its existing media partners are ESPN, WB Discovery and DAZN. Dyn Media has selected Deltratre as the tech provider for the streaming service that will serve the DACH region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It has acquired varying broadcast rights in handball, table tennis, basketball and volleyball.
