FedEx St. Jude Championship unveils new hospitality package for 2023

The FedEx St. Jude Championship is “rolling out an exclusive hospitality destination this year,” according to Jacob Wilt of the Memphis COMMERCIAL APPEAL. Freight 59 is a membership package active during the 2023 St. Jude Championship that “offers experiences like premium seating at the 18th hole, new local dining every day, live music and memorabilia displays, among other things.” A “daily membership package is $1,750, and the four-day membership comes in at $6,000, plus tax.” Just like the tournament itself, “all proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.” FedEx St. Jude Championship Exec Dir Joe Tomek said that the tournament generated about $6.2M “in total charitable contributions.” He added that contributions are “just below” $66M since St. Jude has become a beneficiary. The tournament began its “long-running partnership” with the children's hospital in 1969. Wilt noted this is “just the second year” that the Memphis tournament has been part of the FedExCup Playoffs (Memphis COMMERCIAL APPEAL, 7/17).
