Report Says Ottawa's Lansdowne Park Project Going Ahead On Budget
A "massive" report expected to be released today indicates that the Lansdowne Park redevelopment in Ottawa, which includes a CFL-ready stadium, is "still on budget." The report also says that the "significant delay" caused by the Friends of Lansdowne court challenge, heritage approvals and the addition of new architects "hasn't derailed any part of the partnership" between the city and Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group. The venue is set to open in '14 in time for the CFL season ( OTTAWA SUN, 8/12 ).
