Tim Hortons Inks Naming-Rights Deal For Tiger-Cats' New Stadium

The CFL Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Tim Hortons today are expected to formally announce a naming-rights deal for the team's new stadium, which is set to open in '14 and will also host the '15 Pan Am Games. The venue will be Tim Hortons Field for its first 10 years. Financial details "are not known, but reports suggest it will be the CFL's biggest naming deal." Also today, the team "will unveil new drawings and video representations of the 22,500-seat facility" ( Hamilton SPECTATOR, 7/12 ).

Organizers of the '15 Pan Am Games have already signed sponsorship deals for C$75.6M of the C$102M "they are required to raise," according to audited financial statements ( TORONTO STAR, 7/12 ).
