Bennett, Seahawks Teammates Stand For Anthem To Honor Military

Seahawks DE Michael Bennett and his teammates "all stood for the anthem" prior to last night's "TNF" win against the Cardinals in Glendale. Bennett and several fellow defensive linemen "stood in a row with their arms linked" during the "Star Spangled Banner." Bennett, who has "sat for the anthem all year," made the gesture last night to "honor the military" on the Cardinals' Salute To Service night. Bennett said, "There's this narrative that we don't support the military, that we hate the military. But it's never been about that" ( SEATTLE TIMES, 11/10 ).
