U.S. Soccer names Ann Seeney to top HR position

U.S. Soccer hired Ann Seeney as Chief People & Diversity Officer, a newly-created position for the soccer governing body. She will oversee all of human resources in addition to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Seeney, who will report to CEO Will Wilson, will start on March 21. Her 20-plus year professional career most recently included her serving as VP/Human Resources for the MLB Cardinals, an organization she worked at since mid-'13. Executive search firm Nolan Partners led the search process for U.S. Soccer.
