The LIV Golf Invitational Series today will reveal that the “final event of its eight-tournament schedule will be played at Trump National Doral in Miami in October” (MORNINGREAD.com, 4/25). Today also marks the deadline "when any PGA Tour members who want to appear" in the LIV events when they tee off in London in June "must submit their requests for a release." A Donald Trump course hosting the LIV finale will "almost certainly" end any "lingering chance of the Open Championship returning to Turnberry while it is owned by the former US President." It previously "had been expected that the series-ender from Oct 28-31 would take place in Saudi Arabia itself" (London TELEGRAPH, 4/22).
