Her team also led the launch of The Undefeated on ESPN+, a hub for stories at the intersection of sports, race and culture.

Go-to person when I need help: My dad (Papa G). He just gets me. He always knows what to say, is always there to help, and I know with him in this world I’ll always be safe.

My inspiration: My mom, my abuelita, my family. They’ve made so many sacrifices for me to be here and I’m so incredibly grateful for them.

In the Industry

What drew me to a career in sports: My mentor Brian Lockhart. An incredible leader, mentor, boss, and sponsor.

Biggest surprise when I started my career: Growing up in the Dominican Republic, I never even thought a career in the sports industry would be possible for me. I’m so grateful I was exposed to the industry by my mentor and fell in love with it.

Most exciting aspect of sports business: Consumer behaviors, user experience and content acquisition.

How my generation is changing sports: We are bringing our authentic selves to work and to the storytelling.

Sports industry needs to do a better job of … : Hiring and sponsoring women.

In 10 years, I hope to be … : In places and in rooms I wouldn’t have been able to imagine for myself.
