More About You

Most important lesson of the past 18 months: I learned the importance of writing down goals and taking time to recognize when my prayers have been answered. This past year the world changed on a personal and global scale and while it has been challenging, it’s been rewarding. Now I’m really focused on being grateful and enjoying the journey.

Go-to person when I need help: My fiancé, Aaron, is the smartest person I know about every subject matter imaginable, so he’s always my first call.

My inspiration: Christina Francis, my boss and president of MJE. She’s had an incredible career ranging from agencies to the Orange Bowl and NFLPA in various positions. I admire her ability to adapt and take on new challenges while still being genuine and open about trials she faces. She’s a true leader and very cognizant about mentoring and providing opportunities for other young women of color.

In the Industry

What drew me to a career in sports: My dad held sales positions with different sports properties throughout my life. I grew up watching and playing sports, but seeing how my dad enjoyed his work, traveled, and took our family to games and events sparked my interest to explore career options within the industry.

Biggest surprise when I started my career: I didn’t realize how many different roles were available within the industry and all the moving parts it takes to put on a sporting event.

Most exciting aspect of sports business: Empowering others to live out their dreams is really exciting to me. From helping athletes beginning their professional playing career, curating a fun-first game experience for a fan, or providing a job opportunity for another young professional; I love the experiences I’ve been able to grant others around sports.
